  • How long does it take for an order to be shipped?
All bahr sama pieces are meticulously designed, crafted and polished by hand. This process takes several hours, at least 3 or 4 for each piece. Plus, to prevent waste, bahr sama has a no-stock policy and each piece is made on-demand. This is why orders are shipped within 2 to 3 weeks.
  • Why my piece may show irregularities or imperfections?
bahr sama jewels are all handcrafted. Due to this non-industrial and artisanal production process, irregularities or imperfections may be visible in your piece. These details are the natural result of craftsmanship, and are what make each piece unique.
  • In which countries do you deliver?
At this stage bahr sama offers delivery within the European Union and the United Kingdom. If you are located outside of these regions, please reach out at contact@bahrsama.com and I'll see if it's possible to send the package to your location.
  • Where are bahr sama jewels crafted?
Each bahr sama piece is first designed and sculpted in wax in my little atelier in Paris. When the wax mold is ready, the piece is cast into metal by my caster partner, also based in Paris. Once the metal piece has been cast, I collect it and polish it in my atelier. It's only after all these steps that your jewel reaches its final shiny form and is ready to come to you!
  • How is bahr sama jewelry produced?
Each bahr sama item is handcrafted in Paris, using wax casting techniques. Wax casting is a traditional method of jewelry-making that begins with carving a model in wax. This model is then used to create a mold, into which molten metal is poured. Once cooled, the mold is removed, leaving behind a beautifully cast piece of jewelry. This artisanal process allows for intricate designs and gives each piece its distinctive character.
  • What metal do you use?
All bahr sama pieces are crafted using recycled sterling silver 925 or vermeil. Sterling silver 925 is a durable and high-quality alloy made up of 92.5% pure silver and 7.5% other metals. Vermeil is sterling silver coated with a thick layer of gold. This process combines the elegance of gold with the affordability and strength of sterling silver, ensuring long-lasting beauty.
