care
To ensure your jewels accompany you over the years while retaining their original shine, give them the attention and care they deserve.
-
Remove your jewelry before any physical or manual activity, and before going to bed.
-
Avoid contact with chemicals (perfumes, creams, household products, etc.).
-
Do not wear your jewel in the shower, swimming pool, the sea, or while doing housework. Humidity accelerates silver oxidation and may weaken the gold layer of vermeil.
-
Store your jewelry in a dry place, away from light, in fabric pouches or separate compartment boxes to avoid friction.
refresh
To give your jewels a little refresh if they seem tarnished over time:
-
Clean them with warm soapy water using a soft cloth or a soft toothbrush. Rinse with clear water and dry them gently with a soft cloth.
-
Other tip for silver jewelry: soak the piece in a bowl of white vinegar and let it sit for up to 3 hours. Rinse with clear water and gently dry with a soft cloth.
CAUTION:
-
Never use abrasive cleaners, stiff brushes or rough clothes to clean your jewelry.
-
Do not rub the jewelry when drying. Dab it gently with a soft cloth or cotton.
